Milwaukee, Wis. – Learfield, the exclusive athletics multimedia rightsholder for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, has appointed Kristina Filipovic as the new general manager of its locally-based team, Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties.

As general manager, Filipovic will serve as the primary Learfield liaison related to the university’s comprehensive athletics multimedia rights agreement and corporate partner platform. She will work closely with Director of Athletics Amanda Braun and the entire athletics administration on all aspects of the Learfield/Wisconsin-Milwaukee relationship.

“We’re thrilled to have Kristina join our Wisconsin-Milwaukee family,” said Braun. “Her extensive background in athletics, notably in account services and sales, honed during her tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks, gives us confidence that we will reach new heights under her guidance. Under Kristina’s leadership, we anticipate innovative strategies that will raise the bar for Wisconsin-Milwaukee Athletics and deliver extraordinary experiences for our fans.”

Filipovic brings more than 12 years of account services and sales experience from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties team. Most recently, she served as the team’s senior director of ticket sales and service, where she oversaw ticket sales revenue and managed all aspects of ticket sales operations, including campaign rollout, pricing strategies, and upselling efforts. Throughout her career with the Bucks, she held various roles including director of service and retention, service and retention manager, and senior account service executive. Filipovic is a 2010 graduate of Lakeland University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in both sports studies and business management.

“Kristina’s exceptional industry acumen, leadership, and talent for fostering relationships and driving revenue make her an invaluable addition to our Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties team,” said Meghan Heinchon, Learfield’s VP of Multimedia Rights. “We are confident that her expertise will be instrumental in fortifying community ties in Milwaukee and seamlessly connecting brands with Panther fans, propelling Wisconsin-Milwaukee Athletics to unprecedented levels of success.”
