Madison, Wis. – In partnership with UW Athletics, Learfield’s Badger Sports Properties has opened a new office in downtown Milwaukee, creating an additional avenue for networking with and serving the greater Milwaukee business community.

As UW Athletics’ exclusive multimedia rightsholder, Badger Sports Properties manages all aspects of the rights relationship, providing corporate partners both traditional and new media and technology-based opportunities with the university and its stakeholders.

“Having grown up in the greater Milwaukee area, I’ve seen first-hand how important the Badgers are to the culture of our state,” said Chris McIntosh, Wisconsin Athletics Director. “I’m grateful for our ties to Southeast Wisconsin and excited to strengthen our connection even further.”

There are nearly 500,000 University of Wisconsin alumni in the greater Milwaukee area and many current Athletics’ corporate partners make their homes in the southeast region of the state.

“We are excited to expand our offices to Milwaukee, said Scott Silvestri, Vice President and General Manager of Badger Sports Properties. “Our goal is straightforward – to demonstrate our commitment to Milwaukee and the business community at large, and to take care of our partners at an even more meaningful level.  With the increasing number of events UW Athletics is hosting in Milwaukee, we think the timing is perfect.”

The Milwaukee-based Badger Sports Properties office will be led by Manager of Business Development Deb Logan with Silvestri overseeing all property operations from the team’s Madison-based office.   Logan previously served as the general manager of Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties, and held various sales roles at the Milwaukee Bucks for more than seventeen years.
