LEARFIELD, the media and technology company powering college athletics, is now accepting applications for individuals interested in attending the 9th annual LEARFIELD EDGE Academy. Applicants can apply online here.

Held in partnership with the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), this year’s hybrid EDGE academy will provide a variety of engagement and networking opportunities with industry leaders across collegiate athletics.

If you are interested in building and supporting college athletic solutions that include data and digital platforms, multimedia rights representation, brand management and licensing, broadcasting and content, and ticketing, to name a few, then this could be the program for you.

The 2023 hybrid LEARFIELD EDGE Academy will host a stellar lineup of guest speakers representing intercollegiate athletics, corporate sponsors, industry influencers, and business partners who will provide insights and access into the collegiate sports industry. There will also be an opportunity for this year’s participants to attend an in-person campus visit at one of LEARFIELD’s partner schools.

To be considered for the 2023 class, individuals must complete and submit the online application no later than September 30, 2023. The selection committee, comprised of members from both host organizations, will review all materials and choose up to 25 candidates based on their desire to work in sales, marketing, client management, or technology.

Accepted participants will be notified by October 20, 2023.

Complete requirements are detailed in the online application. The additional criteria used for candidate selection includes:

  • Must have at least 1+ years of full-time work experience (current students, full-time graduate students, and interns will not be considered).
  • Meets the federal guideline for definition as a minority.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
