CLEVELAND – The Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) is proud to announce LEARFIELD’s Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Ian Moses, as the 2023 MOAA Charles Whitcomb Service Award recipient.

The MOAA Charles Whitcomb Award recognizes and celebrates individuals who foster diversity and inclusion within the intercollegiate athletics community. The recipient of this award will be announced and recognized at the MOAA Symposium each year.

Moses is a dynamic leader who spearheads developing and promoting LEARFIELD’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy in collaboration with employees, partners, and properties. In his role, he is responsible for implementing LEARFIELD’s DEI strategy with a specific focus on building and supporting high-performance teams that are inclusive of the communities in which they live and serve. As the former senior inclusion diversity and equity leader for Amazon Web Services, Ian is a seasoned executive with two decades of experience in Workforce Management Solutions. In addition to AWS, he held dedicated DEI roles with Allegis Global Solutions, as Head of Global Inclusion and Diversity, and TEKsystems, where he served as Regional Inclusion and Diversity Manager. These roles have given him a deep understanding of driving inclusive practices and fostering diverse talent within organizations.

Moses’s commitment to diversity and inclusion extends beyond his professional life. At the end of each day, when he goes home to his wife and three children, he is reminded that diversity and inclusion are more than an initiative: it’s a way of life.

Moses will be recognized at the 2023 MOAA Symposium on Sunday, June 11 at the World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando.
