ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Saint Louis University Department of Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD’s Billikens Sports Properties, announce a new relationship with Neighbors Credit Union.

The relationship centers around Billiken basketball and a community-focused “Building Blocks” campaign. Notably, every block recorded by the men’s and women’s basketball teams this season will result in a $20 donation by Neighbors Credit Union to Mission: St. Louis.

“We’re grateful for the support of Neighbors Credit Union, another exemplary local business we are proud to call a corporate partner,” said General Manager of Billikens Sports Properties, Kyle Ingram. “It’s an honor for Billiken Basketball to anchor this new initiative specifically designed to help those in-need right here in our community, and I thank Neighbors for this great program.”

With each block made this season, Mission: St. Louis is better positioned to broaden its ability to help low-to-moderate income area homeowners through its “healthy home repair” program. Dedicated to providing significant support so homeowners can remain in their homes, this program preserves the vitality of dwellings through making code, health, and other safety repairs.

“Neighbors is committed to building stronger connections within our community, and supporting local organizations making an impact is essential,” said Neighbors Credit Union SVP-Marketing, Paula Anderson, a Saint Louis alumna. “We are thrilled to align with the Billikens and the newly created ‘Building Blocks’ initiative. This sponsorship will be incredibly meaningful to our many neighbors served by Mission: St. Louis.”

Alumni, fans, and supporters of Saint Louis University can follow the Neighbors Credit Union “Building Blocks” campaign in-arena, through the radio or television game broadcasts, and via the Billikens’ website throughout the 2022-23 season.
