MONROE, La. – Nick White has been appointed Warhawk Sports Properties’ general manager as announced today by LEARFIELD, athletics multimedia rightsholder for the University of Louisiana Monroe.
This marks a promotion for White, who most recently served as manager of business development for Warhawk Sports Properties. In that role he worked closely with local, regional and national businesses on creative ways to align their brand with ULM Athletics.
As Warhawk Sports Properties’ general manager, White will serve as the primary LEARFIELD liaison related to ULM’s comprehensive athletics multimedia rights agreement and corporate platform. He will work alongside the entire athletics administration and Interim Athletics Director Seth Hall on all aspects of the LEARFIELD relationship.
“Nick has been an integral member of the Warhawk Sports Properties team, and we’re excited about his promotion to general manager,” said Hall. “He and his team are a direct extension of ULM. I have no doubt that Nick will continue to be an outstanding leader with our sponsors, which we value immensely.”
White has a longtime affinity with the Warhawks. He has been the voice of ULM football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and baseball and served as a sideline reporter for football. He also has provided play-by-play for ULM softball and previously served as television play-by-play voice for ULM football, basketball and softball on ESPN+.
“I am excited to assume the role of General Manager for Warhawk Sports Properties.” said White. “This is the right move at the right time personally and professionally. I want to thank LEARFIELD and ULM for trusting me with this position.”
