Owls, Baptist Health Usher in Significant Integrated Sponsorship Agreement

BOCA RATON, Fla. Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD’s Florida Atlantic Sports Properties, announced today that Baptist Health has entered into a multi-year sponsorship renewal with the Owls. The new agreement solidifies a longtime affinity between the university, athletics, and Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health.

“Baptist Health has been a tremendous FAU partner, and we’re thrilled to continue working with them in an elevated capacity across our athletics programming,” said FAU Vice President and Director of Athletics, Brian White. “We are grateful for their ongoing support and commitment to FAU Athletics and proud to have them as a corporate partner.”

Since the onset of the pandemic, Baptist Health has provided valuable medical leadership to FAU and continues to do so, as the university navigates the ongoing challenges and protocols associated with COVID-19.

As part of the agreement, Baptist Health will serve as team doctors for all 19 NCAA Division I teams and nearly 500 student-athletes. In addition, Baptist Health has use of FAU marks and receives brand visibility across multiple sports during all competitive sports seasons. The organization also will engage in a community program with the Owls and receive exposure throughout the year via FAU Athletics’ print, radio, digital, in-venue signage, TV and game day sponsorships.

The relationship between Baptist Health and FAU Athletics is managed by Florida Atlantic Sports Properties, dedicated to representing the Owls as multimedia rightsholder and LEARFIELD’s locally based team.
