LEARFIELD is now accepting applications for individuals interested in attending the 7th annual LEARFIELD EDGE Academy. Applicants can apply online at moaaweb.com.

Formally known as the LEARFIELD Minority Academy and held in partnership with the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA), this year’s virtual EDGE Academy will provide a variety of engagement and networking opportunities with industry leaders across collegiate athletics. If you are interested in building and supporting solutions that include data and brand management, multimedia rights representation, licensing, broadcasting, ticketing, and in-venue technology to name a few, then this could be the program for you. The 2021 virtual LEARFIELD EDGE Academy will host a stellar lineup of guest speakers representing intercollegiate athletics, sponsors, industry influencers, and business partners who will provide insights and access into the collegiate sports industry.

To be considered for the 2021 academic class, individuals must complete and submit the online application no later than October 29, 2021. The selection committee, comprised of members from both host organizations, will review all materials and choose 16-20 candidates based on their desire to work in sales, marketing, client management or technology.

Accepted participants will be notified by November 12.

Complete requirements are outlined on the online application. The additional criteria used for candidate selection are as follows:
