Mustang Fans Can Participate in Auctions for Signed Football Team Practice Jerseys to Benefit Children’s Health
DALLAS – Children’s Health has extended its sponsorship commitment to support SMU Athletics as announced today by the University and its athletics multimedia rightsholder, Mustang Sports Properties.
The new multi-year agreement aligns with the upcoming 2021-22 athletics season. It allows Children’s Health to assume the designations of “Official Pediatric Health Care Partner of SMU Athletics” and “Proud Supporter of SMU Athletics.”
Notably, the 2021 Mustang football practice jerseys will include a Children’s Health patch. At three select times during the season, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a jersey signed by Coach Dykes. All proceeds from the jersey sales will directly benefit the pediatric health system and its related programming.
“We are so happy to be part of this sponsorship,” said Dykes. “We are thankful for Children’s support, but even more importantly, we’re glad that our jerseys can generate funds to benefit the healthcare system. SMU is an integral part of the City of Dallas and we’re proud that we can play a small part in helping young people in our community.”
“Children’s Health is a valued partner, and we’re excited to continue working with them in many new respects, including opportunities for SMU fans to participate in jersey auctions to directly benefit pediatric health,” said Josh White, Mustang Sports Properties’ general manager.
Mustang Sports Properties, SMU Athletics’ multimedia rightsholder and dedicated LEARFIELD team, manages the Children’s Health relationship on behalf of the University.
