BUFFALO, NY – Mobile communications company T-Mobile has signed on to be the official wireless sponsor of University at Buffalo athletics, the school announced on Monday. T-Mobile will now be a Team UB partner – UB athletics’ premier partnership category.

“We’re excited to have T-Mobile on board as a new Team UB partner,” UB Athletic Director Mark Alnutt said. “We appreciate their commitment to UB Athletics and look forward to working with them as our official wireless sponsor.”

The deal will include brand presence in UB Stadium and Alumni Arena, exposure through UB Athletics digital and social platforms as well as have use of the Bulls’ spirit mark. T-Mobile will receive on-site activation for fan engagement at football, basketball and select olympic sports events. T-Mobile will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the UB Football pregame show.

Bulls Sports Properties, the university’s athletics multimedia rights holder and locally based Learfield IMG College team, manages the T-Mobile relationship on behalf of UB Athletics.
