RALEIGH, N.C. – N.C. State University and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Wolfpack Sports Properties, today introduced a multi-year relationship with Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n’ Bake Pizza concurrent with the 2019-20 collegiate athletics season.
The N.C. State official athletics website, GoPack.com, will include digital online advertising for Papa Murphy’s, as well as two social engagement campaigns highlighting all N.C. State away games for football and men’s basketball. Additionally, in-venue signage for Papa Murphy’s will be featured during all football, men’s basketball and baseball games.
“We are thrilled to begin our new relationship with N.C. State this season,” said Richard Averitte, Vice President Marketing for Twickenham Holdings LLC, the Papa Murphy’s Pizza franchisee in Eastern North Carolina; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama. “It’s great for us to build our brand through the digital space, and we look forward to all upcoming events with Wolfpack Nation.”
As part of its N.C. State relationship, Papa Murphy’s is also receiving a Fan Zone display on game days, mascot appearances at Papa Murphy’s locations, and radio recognition in football, men’s basketball and baseball. A pre-game radio show party is planned for the football season and will be hosted at a Papa Murphy’s location in the Triangle area.

Supported by the slogan, “When the Pack is on the road, take Papa Murphy’s home!”, promotions for different coupons and deals for fans will be available each week N.C. State plays an away game. N.C. State’s official athletics website will feature an enter-to-win page where fans will have the opportunity to win an “at home tailgate” for an away game. Pizza and other prizes will be supplied for fans’ ultimate experience during at-home watch parties with family and friends.
Wolfpack Sports Properties, the locally based Learfield IMG College team, manages the Papa Murphy’s relationship on behalf of N.C. State Athletics.
