STARKVILLE, Miss. – TraxPlus of Hickory, MS has won the inaugural “MWG Employer Services Business Game Changer” contest and was recognized by Mississippi State Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Bulldog Sports Properties, on April 13, 2019 during Super Bulldog Weekend.

TraxPlus, owned by Chris Weems, was selected from hundreds of entries that were narrowed down to a group of 10 finalists. As grand prize winner, Weems will receive business services and marketing valued up to $60,000 from MWG Employer Services and Mississippi State Athletics. TraxPlus will also receive strategic marketing consultation through an integrated partnership with the Bulldogs, reaching millions of fans and alumni.

“We’re really excited about winning the Business Game Changer contest, and we believe this contest displays the unmatched passion that TraxPlus has for its industry,” said Weems. “We feel that this opportunity will elevate TraxPlus and our brands to a household name among our MSU fans. Hail State!”

During the fall, businesses with a distinct connection to Mississippi State were invited to enter the first-ever “MWG Employer Services Business Game Changer” contest. “TraxPlus began when Chris Weems took a leap of faith and left a secure career to pursue a dream. In just six short years, Chris has created a thriving business that continues to have a positive impact on Mississippi, his community, and the families of those he employs,” Joel Jasper, MWG Employer Services manager. “We are excited to provide our skills and experience to help further Chris’ momentum and help Traxplus be the best they can be.”

According to Bulldog Sports Properties’ General Manager Ann Brett Gillespie Strickland, “It was exciting see so many submissions from growing companies in Mississippi that wanted to connect with the Mississippi State fan base and continue developing their business. The challenge was in selecting one to be the winner, and with the continuing partnership with Morgan White Group, we are thrilled that there will be another campaign and winner for 2019. Kudos to both Morgan White Group and TraxPlus for a great year and another to follow.”
