Long-Time Nevada Wolf Pack Corporate Partner Expands University Relationship

RENO, Nev. – Nevada State Bank takes its corporate partnership with the Wolf Pack to a new level by becoming the first-ever Presenting Sponsor of Men’s Basketball as announced today by Terry Shirey, President & CEO for Nevada State Bank and University of Nevada Director of Athletics Doug Knuth.

On the heels of the announcement that season tickets for the upcoming men’s basketball season are officially sold out, the Wolf Pack introduces Nevada State Bank as the team’s presenting sponsor. The financial institution has been a loyal supporter of the Wolf Pack for eight consecutive years and adds this new element moving into the current collegiate athletic season.

“Nevada State Bank is proud to be presenting sponsor for the 2018-19 Wolf Pack men’s basketball program,” said Shirey. “For nearly 10 years of backing Wolf Pack sports, the Bank can’t wait to cheer on the team as they heat up the court—celebrating game days in all the branches across Northern Nevada.”

Knuth added, “We’re grateful for the outstanding support we receive each year from local and regional businesses, and we are excited to have Nevada State Bank’s continued commitment. We want to thank them for serving in a new capacity as presenting sponsor for our men’s basketball program this season and look forward to the synergies that may bring.”

Nevada opens the year on Nov. 6 against BYU, the first of six home non-conference games before the Mountain West schedule begins in January. Mini-plan offerings will be limited this season, and more information on mini-plans and single-game tickets, including an on-sale date and quantities, will be announced in the coming weeks.
