Sports Radio 107.5, 1400 The Fan to Carry Phoenix Programming Through 2021
GREEN BAY, Wis. – University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and its athletics multimedia rightsholder, Learfield, announced today a new flagship radio partner for the Phoenix in Cumulus-Green Bay through the 2020-21 collegiate athletic season.
Two Cumulus-owned stations, Sports Radio 107.5 and 1400 “The Fan” officially join the UW Green Bay Sports Network this basketball season. Fans will be able to hear men’s and women’s basketball game action on WDUZ FM 107.5 and WDUZ AM 1400, as well as a total of six coaches’ shows. The coaches’ shows will feature men’s basketball Head Coach Linc Darner, women’s basketball Head Coach Kevin Borseth, along with special guests of the Phoenix throughout the season. “Cumulus Broadcasting – Green Bay, along with our station WDUZ (The Fan 107.5 and 1400), is extremely excited to join forces with UWGB and the men’s and women’s basketball teams,” said Don Pollnow, Cumulus Vice President and General Manager of the Green Bay stations. “The women have a longstanding tradition of conference dominance, and the men are heading into their 50th season. We have always had an admiration for the program and are thrilled to be the broadcast partner of the Phoenix.”
