PHILADELPHIA Learfield recently named Layne Werner as general manager for Dragons Sports Properties, its locally based team representing Drexel University Athletics.

Werner most recently served in the same capacity for Learfield’s team at Manhattan College. Prior to joining Learfield, she was the director, strategic marketing and partnerships for LeadDog Marketing Group. Her other sports marketing and sponsorship-related experience includes serving with other Los Angeles-based entities such as LA KISS, the former arena football team; Pasadena Tournament of Roses; and Wasserman.
