CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Hurricane Sports Properties, announced today that Pride Air Conditioning and Appliances will be a corporate partner during the upcoming football season.

Pride AC is partnering with York brand of Air Conditioners. As Pride celebrates its 44th year of serving south Florida homes, this family run and owned company will be offering UM Fans the opportunity to win great prizes and up to $20,000 in cash. Visit Pride at the Fan Zone, Club Level food sections and at any of the Pride/York Party Decks. Pride’s 2018 football partnership with the Canes marks the company’s first-ever collegiate sports sponsorship.

To complement its visibility on game days, Pride will receive digital exposure on the official athletics website, hurricanesports.com, as well as be featured in a social engagement campaign encouraging Hurricane fans to “Show their Pride.”

“We have an outstanding fan base that is passionate about our team and coming to Hard Rock Stadium on game days,” said University of Miami Director of Athletics Blake James. “We appreciate Pride’s support of the Canes this football season and look forward to a longstanding partnership with them and their vendors.”

Pride Air Conditioning and Appliances, based in Pompano Beach, has been serving residences and businesses in North Miami, Broward County and Palm Beach County since 1974.

“It’s an honor to support the University, and we’re excited about letting the community know our story and saying thank you for being fantastic customers for the last 44 years. We’re looking forward to the season,” said Howard Pearl, owner of Pride AC and Appliances.

“York is happy to be partnering with Pride in this sponsorship and look forward to letting the community know more about our great brand and partnership with Pride AC,” said Anthony Pascucci, Regional Director for York.
