One fan to shoot half-court shot for the chance to win a car
BAKERSFIELD, Ca. – Locally operated Bakersfield Hyundai has partnered with CSU Bakersfield as announced today by Roadrunner Sports Properties, the multimedia rights partner of CSU Bakersfield Athletics. This marks a first for Bakersfield Hyundai, partnering to secure title sponsorship of this special athletic event.
“Bakersfield Hyundai is excited to be a partner in the 2015 Blue/Gold game,” said Bakersfield Hyundai Operating Partner Patrick Beck. “What is most appealing is the idea that Bakersfield Hyundai will be part of such a fun evening, with autographs, basketball, and hopefully, a car giveaway! I look forward to having an entertaining atmosphere at Icardo center for fans of all ages, in such a wholesome environment. This is the beginning of a great season of CSUB basketball.”
The Blue/Gold scrimmage is scheduled for Thursday, October 22 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Fans can register ahead of time at Bakersfield Hyundai or online at www.bakersfieldhyundai.com, or at CSUB Icardo Center the day of the game. One random fan will be chosen at a halftime drawing to shoot a half-court shot for the chance to win a vehicle courtesy of Bakersfield Hyundai.
“I truly believe that the Bakersfield Hyundai Blue/Gold Scrimmage is going to be the best one yet,” said CSU Bakersfield Athletics Director Ziggy Siegfried. “It will be a fun, family friendly event that will give a great preview of what’s to come this year for our basketball teams. Plus you have a chance to win a car! I want to thank Patrick Beck and everyone at Bakersfield Hyundai for partnering to make this night special for our student-athletes and fans.”
“We are excited to have Bakersfield Hyundai join our corporate sponsorship roster,” said Roadrunner Sports Properties General Manager Will Carter. “They will no doubt be a great partner for this event.”
