Considered to be a one-of-a-kind event, the Learfield Minority Academy is designed to foster minority growth and development in the collegiate multimedia and sponsorship sector. This year’s 5th Annual Learfield Minority Academy will be held June 11-15, 2018 and the application process is currently closed. A committee comprised of members from MOAA and Learfield will closely review applications and notify candidates early spring.

The Academy features two and a half days of classroom educational sessions dedicated to sales training, best practices and professional development. These sessions are held at Learfield’s headquarters in Plano, Texas. The final two days allow attendees to shadow sales staff at a Learfield Division I college partner, providing for ultimate engagement in the actual day-to-day operations of Learfield’s multimedia rights relationships.

Last year, we welcomed Oliver Luck and Gene Smith as keynote speakers, in addition to a stellar group of Athletic Directors and guest speakers from leading brands, who invest in college sports. For more on the 2017 Learfield Minority Academy, click here.
