STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma Chevy Team Dealers and Green Country Chevy Dealers announced a multi-year partnership with Oklahoma State Athletics and Learfield’s Cowboy Sports Properties to make Chevy the Official Truck of Pistol Pete. The first-of-its-kind agreement puts Pistol Pete behind the wheel of two brand-new, custom-wrapped 2025 Chevy Silverado’s featuring Chevy branding and Pete’s signature.

“Pistol Pete has embodied the Cowboy spirit for generations, and now he’s taking it on the road in official Chevy Silverado’s,” said Chad Weiberg, Oklahoma State University Athletic Director. “Partnering with Chevy on this pioneering activation gives fans a new, up-close way to experience the energy and tradition that Pistol Pete brings to every appearance.”

In addition to the custom Silverado trucks, the partnership provides Chevy with year-round visibility across Oklahoma State Athletics. Chevy will connect with students and fans through prominent branding at football games, digital and social media campaigns, radio broadcasts, and a co-branded Chevy Oklahoma T-shirt giveaway for the first 500 students at the104th  edition of America’s Greatest  Homecoming on October 18 vs the Cincinnati Bearcats.
