4-part series documents the Red Raiders’ everyday approach to finding success on the court
LUBBOCK, Texas (Oct. 16, 2024) – Texas Tech Athletics along with Learfield Studios and athletics multimedia rights holder Red Raider Sports Properties are excited for today’s premiere of a new original digital content series titled Toughest Team Wins, presented by United Supermarkets.
A 4-part docuseries, Toughest Team Wins provides fans with a behind-the-scenes look at the mindset and preparation of Head Men’s Basketball Coach Grant McCasland’s squad in the lead up to the 2024-25 season.
Under McCasland, Texas Tech Men’s Basketball has established itself as a program on the rise, and his saying “Toughest Team Wins” is an everyday approach to the game for the Red Raiders. Using exclusive interviews and access, Toughest Team Wins is a unique look into the program, players and coaches who are determined to get the Red Raiders to a championship level.
“We are really excited for our fans to get an all-access look into our program with this 4-part series leading into the season,” Texas Tech basketball coach Grant McCasland said. “Toughest Teams Wins is a mentality we approach every day with and this series allows us to showcase how this team has been preparing for the season. We have a great group of guys who love basketball and are a lot of fun to be around. This series will grow a deeper connection between our players and fanbase through exclusive interviews and full access to practices, team meetings and events. I encourage everyone to watch.”
The premiere episode is now live and additional episodes air weekly leading up to tipoff. All episodes of Toughest Team Wins will be posted across all Texas Tech Athletics social media platforms and can also be viewed on digital streaming platform TexasTech+ at WreckEm.co/ToughestTeamWins.
