Four New Affiliates Join 55-Station Busey Bank Fighting Illini Sports Network

CHAMPAIGN, ILLongtime Champaign-Urbana based Busey Bank has become the title sponsor of the Fighting Illini radio network. The Busey Bank Illini Sports Network now boasts 55 affiliates throughout the state of Illinois with four new stations for the 2020-21 academic year. Fighting Illini Sports Properties (FISP) also announced four new affiliates to the state-wide network with the addition of WGGH-AM (1150) and WGGH-FM (98.5), both of Marion, WMMC-FM (105.9) of Marshall, and WSVZ-FM (98.3), of Tower Hill. FISP, the university’s athletics multimedia rightsholder and locally based Learfield IMG College team, secured the radio network title sponsorship with Busey Bank.

Fighting Illini Football and Men’s Basketball games are also streamed on the SiriusXM and the Tune-in Apps for mobile devices and computers. The Illini Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball and Softball matches and games are also broadcast locally in the Champaign-Urbana market on the network flagship, WDWS-AM (1400).
