EXCEEDENT TO SPONSOR MARQUETTE ATHLETICS MEN’S BASKETBALL PROGRAM
Company Led by Former Player Jeff Zavada to Support the Golden Eagles
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Milwaukee-based health care benefits company Exceedent has become a corporate sponsor of Marquette Athletics and the men’s basketball program during the next two collegiate athletic seasons. Exceedent is an innovative, full-service third-party health benefits administrator that specializes in serving self-funded employers locally and nationally. The company currently helps bring affordable health care benefits to nearly 20,000 members and does business in 13 states.
“It was an honor to represent Marquette as a student athlete, and I’m proud that Exceedent is supporting the athletics program and campus community that was supportive of me,” said President Jeff Zavada, who played at Marquette from 1989-91. “As a health-focused company, we’re excited to be involved in the community in this new way, and we look forward to not only making a difference by supporting Marquette Athletics, but also by helping to better educate alumni and fans about affordable health care benefits options available to them.”
Over the next two years, particularly during the men’s basketball season, Exceedent will serve as title game sponsor for the upcoming men’s basketball game vs. Kansas State December 1 at Fiserv Forum. The relationship with Exceedent is overseen by the university’s athletics multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s local Marquette Sports Properties.
