Familiar voices headline the Bulldog Sports Network’s radio broadcast team for the 2021-22 season

FRESNO, Calif. – With new ways to stay connected with Fresno State Athletics in 2021 and beyond, an experienced team of familiar voices will be the official broadcast talent for the Bulldog Sports Network this season, which includes iHeartMedia as the official broadcast home of Fresno State Athletics.

Paul Loeffler (play-by-play), Pat Hill (analyst) and Cam Worrell (analyst) will again team up to broadcast Fresno State football games, while Loeffler and Marc Q. Jones (analyst) will also return in covering Bulldog men’s basketball games on the Bulldog Sports Network.

Loeffler will headline coverage in baseball for his 21st season, while Matt Norville will be the play-by-play announcer for Fresno State women’s basketball and softball games in 2021-22.

Complementing his play-by-play duties, Loeffler now assumes the newly created role of director of broadcasting for Bulldog Sports Properties (BSP), Fresno State’s athletics multimedia rights holder and locally based Learfield IMG College team. As part of the overall rights relationship, BSP manages not only the corporate partner platform but the Bulldogs’ broadcast operations.

“I’m thrilled for the continued privilege of partnering with expert analysts who not only help us all understand the game at a deeper level, but who all recognize what a special place our Valley is,” Loeffler said.  “I know we’re all honored to serve Bulldog fans in this capacity, and we’re especially excited to welcome back a voice that was missing from last year’s broadcasts: the collective roar of the Red Wave.”

Simulcasts of these Bulldog Sports Network audio broadcasts will be integrated into Fresno State’s home games on the Mountain West Network.

With Fresno State Athletics honoring the legacy of its first 100 years in a variety of centennial efforts, this talented broadcast team will regularly highlight special moments from the past, while calling the action of the present and adding context and perspective for future championship experiences.
