This role will assist LEARFIELD's National sales efforts in providing research and data to support current client relationships. This person will serve as the day-to-day research point of contact for the National Partnership Management team, which manages current client accounts and renewals. Additionally, this role will assist with corporate research initiatives including aggregating internal data resources and collaborating across LEARFIELD’s internal data teams (Product Team, Measurement Team, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete research requests using 1st party resources, syndicated data, and audience metrics to source data (including LEARFIELD’s Fanbase and YouGov), utilize Excel to analyze data and create charts as graphical representations of the data, and prepare custom reports based on client’s objectives
  • After completion of Research requests, ensure National Partnership Management team can effectively communicate data story to clients and external stakeholders
  • Proactively work to identify opportunities for upsell/deal improvement using available fan data
  • Effectively communicate value of current partnerships using available measurement metrics, including broadcast exposure valuation data, impressions, and attendance data
  • Participate in weekly Revenue Strategy and Insights meetings, sharing updates on internal projects, and providing suggestions on research best practices/use cases 
  • Connect with members of the National Partnership Management teams regularly to better understand and anticipate upcoming research needs (renewal timelines, client KPIs, category trends, etc.)
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent data communication processes are in place across LEARFIELD’s internal data teams
  • Participate in internal analytical projects to support LEARFIELD's research initiatives
  • Standard work hours are from 8am CST – 5pm CST, with a 1-hour lunch break. Work is done on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite, and 2 days remote.
  • The work environment is an office setting in the LEARFIELD Corporate Office in Plano TX. This person will work in an 'open work area', surrounded by other internal sales support teams.

 Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Sports Management, or a related field
  • 1 year of experience with strong problem solving, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes and projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail
