Job Purpose:  

This position provides a key role within the procurement/strategic sourcing department by supporting the strategic sourcing effort, program adoption and on-going category management for Learfield. The ideal candidate will collect RFPs/RFQs and other information. This person oversees ticket management and tactical procurement operations, i.e., responding to internal stakeholders and supplier questions. Ensures that procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Credit card audit and reconciliation (procurement rebate)
  • End user support for ticket operations and service level agreement performance.
  • Respond to supplier and stakeholder questions (e.g. category, supply, event, price, or specification)
  • Provides regular reporting and dashboards to internal procurement team
  • Identifying emerging trends and partnering with internal customers to create valued change.
  • Work with internal team and suppliers to track and communicate savings achieved
  • Research the market and vendors to verify credibility and ability to provide what is promised
  • Keep abreast of data resulting from the vendor relationship (KPIs) to ensure SLAs are met
  • Support other initiatives / projects in the company that may affect organization’s performance and collaborate with necessary stakeholders
  • Track and monitor invoices against budgets to ensure there is a favorable monthly variance
  • Track and monitor ticketing purchases
  • End user support for travel program and service level agreement performance.
  • Respond to supplier and stakeholder questions (e.g. category, supply, event, price, or specification)
  • End User Support for Procurement Mailbox (Adobe Sign, Concur, Shipping, Contracts, New Vendor documents, random end user questions 20 per week)
  • Contract Upload into ServiceNow, New Vendor Upload into Contract System/ServiceNow
  • Report Pulls for Great Plains and Supplier Systems


Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain positive and professional attitude at all times.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work in an accurate manner.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality and prioritize duties.
  • Identify and define problems; determine the probable causes; suggest solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and engage at all organizational levels
  • 3+ years related experience or a degree in a related area of study.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
