Learfield manages ad operations for more than 1,400 website and mobile applications across its vast network of university, conference, and association partnerships. This position will be a member of the Ad Operations team whose primary focus is assisting Learfield’s local and national sales team in the optimization and growth of display/video ad revenue through programmatic and data-driven solutions.

The Programmatic & Yield Analyst will be a key position within our Ad Operations team, helping to surface insights, manage digital revenue analytics, programmatic partner performance, and be a key contributor helping us to capitalize on maximizing revenue potential of our digital portfolio of websites and apps. This position sites within the company’s Media & Partnerships Group.



  • Manage programmatic reporting processes across Ad Operations, surfacing performance results, trends, and areas of opportunity
  • Manage and maintain partner connections to centralized programmatic reporting tools
  • Assist with dashboard creation and ongoing maintenance to support business intelligence initiatives
  • Provide revenue analytics, forecasting, and reporting to help guide stakeholders with making business decisions around ad product strategy, pricing, and 3rd party sales opportunities
  • Assist management to ensure successful transition to Fan365 sales product deliverability across official athletic websites
  • Ensure quality assurance and accuracy across all programmatic partners and various data sources
  • Manage reporting products inside Google Ad Manager and other ad tech systems to aid in efficient reporting processes across network of websites & apps
  • Track inventory delivery, sell-thru rate, eCPM, and yield analytics across all sales channels and ad products to provide key insights into sales leadership
  • Delivery monthly reporting to aid in the financial revenue reconciliation process for invoices and accounts receivable
  • Collaborate with programmatic operations team to identify areas of need and opportunity to maximize revenue through new demand partnerships & partner optimizations



  • 2+ years of experience within programmatic, yield management, or data analytics with either a publisher, ad agency, or ad tech vendor
  • Data science and/or data analysis background
  • Highly analytics, entrepreneurial, and ability to work autonomously
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, exchange/RTB platforms, Supply Side Partners (e.g. Index Exchange, Xandr, Sovrn, Amazon, Magnite, Pubmatic, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency and quality assurance for competing projects
