The LEARFIELD Amplify team is a local, dedicated entity representing the University. In complete collaboration with the university, this team is committed through first class professionalism to building top notch customer sales and service relationships extending the affinity of the University’s brand to fans, donors, alumni, businesses and corporations of all sizes looking to align with the undeniably loyal and passionate collegiate sports fan base. As the exclusive outbound arm for the University, the ticket sales team manages many of the sales efforts for ticketed sports. As a member of the team, we provide fans, partners, businesses, and constituents of the University with the outreach and access to all ticket types, including season, partial, and group tickets, and ultimately providing experiences to grow involvement and revenue generation across the board while integrating fully within the department and the community. 

LEARFIELD Amplify is seeking a ­­Premium Sales Manager who will serve as a key member of the Premium Seating & Sooner Club teams at the University of Oklahoma. This position is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives that fulfill the Premium Seating business plan and support the Sooner Club and OU Athletics. The position will assist in working with the General Manager, in conjunction with the Sooner Club to develop sales, retention and service strategies and be responsible for the implementation thereof with premium seating team members. Through innovation and accountability, the sales manager will manage and mentor their department to drive the sales and retention of premium seating donors to achieve annual business plan budgets.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead efforts for gameday operations and needs of Premium Seat Holders at football games and other events as applicable.
  • Work regularly with the General Manager to understand the overall strategic direction of the Premium Seating department
  • Direct within the boundaries of the department business plan and hold staff accountable for their goals and influence on the plan.
  • Hire, manage, and train Premium Seating sales team members to become experts in business development with an unwavering commitment to obtaining the highest levels of customer service, experience, and retention.
  • Maintain and generate sales activity and sales revenue reports to be shared with General Manager, Sooner Club and OU Athletics Admin.
  • Stabilize and cultivate a list of current partner accounts while working to development new business relationships within the business community.
  • Engage with staff members on sales and service appointments, providing mentorship and strategic direction as needed.
  • Communicate with Premium Seat Holders regularly regarding updates, gameday information and other announcements, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with campus and athletic department partners such as facilities and events, hospitality, and security to create and execute gameday operations for premium seat patrons.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to Premium Seat Holders via phone, email, and face-to-face communications.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Sooner Club staff on premium seat renewal processes and ticket delivery.
  • Conduct offseason evaluations of premium spaces and take necessary steps to correct any issues or facility needs.
  • Evaluate policies and procedures throughout the year and update as needed.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings regularly with direct reports to establish and evaluate goals, ensuring that sales and service metrics are being attained.
  • Lead weekly meetings with sales and service team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or relatable work experience.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • Experience with premium hospitality or athletic venue suites and clubs is preferred.
  • Experience with fundraising and philanthropic gifts.
  • Experience using Paciolan is preferred.
  • Must be able to work all home Oklahoma football games.
  • Must be open to working occasional weekends and nights as needed in addition to football games and other events as needed.
