We’re looking for a Manager of Post Production to join LEARFIELD! As a member of the Learfield Studios team, you’ll support LEARFIELD’s growing content and video operations by building, auditing, and optimizing workflows to help ensure content is media managed properly and efficiently. You’ll help to establish post-production standards and procedures in order to meet publishing deadlines and deliver content that exceeds creative and technical expectations.

This role is for you if you have a solid understanding of digital video production, a knack for organizing any team you’re on, and are excited by finding elegant solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate is an ultra-organized self-starter, adaptable, excels in a deadline-driven environment, and is highly motivated to problem solve and be a key support beam for our internal production operations. You’ll be based in our NYC office and report to the Senior Director, Content.


  • Oversee post production workflow, timelines, deliverables and staff for Learfield Studios
  • Create post-production schedule based around shooting schedule and target launch/release.
  • Ensure agreement between Learfield Studios and school on key dates (cut turnovers, picture lock, delivery)
  • Confirm post-production schedules are up to date based on latest shooting schedule and ensure post team hits all deliverables on time
  • Oversee the editing and execution of additional assets and cutdowns for Learfield studio’s video series
  • Develop post production workflow with remote production companies at school properties and develop system for seamless footage delivery and logging, including archival footage
  • Act as a project manager across post-production to communicate deadlines for approvals and creative notes process between schools/brands, director, producers, post-production and studio to keep on schedule for target delivery
  • Oversee the delivery of all cuts, cutdowns and additional assets to school & partners
  • Consult and hire post-production crew and companies (editors, assistant editors, coordinators, assistants)
  • Provide weekly updates regarding any changes to schedule or major post budgetary issues
  • Secure bids from competing post-production vendors (sound facility, picture finishing, rentals) and negotiate fair pricing and lock in deal


  • 6+ years experience in managing the post production process
  • Deep understanding of workflow for digital video processes both remotely and in a facility
  • Ability to communicate and problem solve across all aspects of post production
  • Strong experience in scheduling and managing Post Production teams across multiple departments
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to lead and assist on all phases of production
  • Comfortable in working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to mentor and guide post production staff
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to lead post production meetings and keep all team members updated on production
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Suite
  • Relationships with post production talent
  • Comfort level with managing budgets, schedules and tight deadlines
  • Sports experience a plus


  • Compensation: $95,000 – $115,000
  • Bonus: 10%
