Learfield manages ad operations for more than 1,400 website and mobile applications across its vast network of university, conference, and association partnerships.

This position will be a member of the Ad Operations team whose primary focus is assisting Learfield’s local and national sales team in the optimization and expansion of website and mobile display/video ad revenue through the fulfillment of sponsorship campaigns.

The Inventory Analyst will lead the creation of digital ad inventory opportunities and manage internal processes around forecasting and reporting on advertising products. This position will play an integral role supporting multiple teams as we modernize our ad product solutions and inventory offerings to our sponsors and media partners. This position will sit within the company’s Media & Partnerships Group.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support Ad Product team with vetting, onboarding, and launching new digital ad solutions
  • Manage digital rate card product development within internal CRM and trafficking systems
  • Aid in the development of integrated processes and systems across sales and activation (Google Ad Manager, L365 CRM, HUB)
  • Management, analysis, and reporting oversight of official athletic website and app ad inventory (sell-through) and product performance (revenue/yield)
  • Analyze digital sponsorship performance (entitlements & takeovers) and ensure optimal packaging, pricing strategies, and sales education are delivered to teams
  • Lead the development and rollout of an enhanced inventory management and forecasting process, providing critical insight to sales support and key stakeholders on product utilization and inventory availability
  • Support Digital Strategy & Solutions team by providing on-request inventory forecasts and avails, inclusive of takeovers, entitlements, premium ad solutions, and rotational media
  • Assist with inventory creation within Google Ad Manager, such as ad units, key values, placements, and reporting products.
  • Support audience and traffic analytics needs from stakeholders, utilizing GA360
  • Provide support to Ad Operations team with ad-hoc requests relative to trafficking, reporting, and blocking

 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of digital advertising experience within revenue operations, inventory management, ad operations, or business analyst background
  • High proficiency in Excel and interest in data visualization tools
  • Experience working in Google Ad Manager a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of efficiency and quality assurance for competing projects
