Responsibilities:

  • Provide graphic design strategies and services for company’s partner institutions, including logo/identity design, retail signage, advertising, and local and national marketing initiatives.

  • Provide idea generation and creative graphic design for all departments within the company, both internally and externally, including company-developed brands such as College Colors Day and College Vault.

  • Conceptualize and design new collegiate logos and brand identities for clients. Design and develop signage and collateral materials for internal and external events.

  • Develop templates, charts, graphics, and other presentation materials as needed. Design and update existing designs for brochures, retail signage, invitations, flyers, and other marketing collateral materials; prepare materials for print. Assist with layout, production, and development of new business proposals. Assist in maintaining logo files on the server for centralized distribution. Develop various employee communication pieces (posters, email, cards). Repurpose photos and images through Photoshop.

  • Work with printers and other vendors as needed to execute marketing and communications projects

  • Assist Director of Communications / Creative Services and other staff in the planning and execution of various projects for as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of design experience either in an in-house creative department or design firm.
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Expert knowledge in graphic production process.
  • Works well under tight deadlines in a team environment.
  • Able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable and quick learner. Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identities for multiple clients.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with motion graphics (After Effects), web design, WordPress, a plus.
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions.
  • Creative with a basic knowledge/interest in collegiate logos/design, interest in sports industry a plus.
