Learfield IMG College manages ad operations for more than 1,000 website and mobile applications across its vast network of university, conference, and association partnerships.

This position will be a member of the Ad Operations team whose primary focus is assisting Learfield IMG College’s local and national sales team in the optimization and expansion of website and mobile display/video ad revenue through the fulfillment of sponsorship campaigns.

The Full Stack Developer – Ad Tech will lead ad tech initiatives for Learfield IMG College within the company’s Media & Partnerships Group. 


  • Lead all ad tech development and implementation for advertising products across SIDEARM (a division of Learfield IMG College) as well as any applicable third-party website and mobile application platforms
  • Day-to-day contact for all ad development projects and tasks, including the architecture, coding, QA and maintenance of advertising capabilities for all websites and mobile applications
  • Lead the Implementation and/or removal of ad code associated with programmatic partnerships
  • Oversee the integration and maintenance of internal CRM and external ad serving (Google Ad Manager) systems
  • Coordinate and communicate ad tech activities across various divisions within Learfield IMG College


  • Holds 2+ years previous experience developing and implementing digital advertising technology solutions
  • Strong experience with Google Publisher Tags and Google Ad Manager
  • Well versed and up to date with both standard and dynamic digital advertising development using HTML5, CSS and Javascript
  • Knowledge of programmatic sales solutions (DSPs, SSPs, Ad Networks, etc)
  • Has a holistic understanding of the programmatic ad tech ecosystem and of the role of data in digital advertising
  • Can consult on and architect digital advertising solutions
  • In-depth understanding of technical issues related to standard and dynamic digital advertising development and implementation
  • Ability to maintain a high level of efficiency and quality assurance for several competing projects
  • Displays strong communication skills and has ability to clearly and confidently provide strategic guidance when working with individuals who may not have a strong digital background
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing obstacles and overcoming problems
