You will own the end-to-end engineering outcome of large-scale products in the B2B and B2C space. One such initiative is creating a new frictionless, more engaging checkout experience for our fans that will not only drastically improve conversion but also increase loyalty. You’ll collaborate with department heads and create alignment across all teams to ensure we are innovating at scale. Lead with ruthless prioritization and make difficult but necessary tradeoffs to keep everyone focused on the desired outcome. Influence others with rigorous thinking backed by data.

As a senior engineering leader, you’ll keep pushing the envelope to take our engineering organization to new heights. Instill a culture that will leave a lasting impact on our lives. What you’ll do

  •  Lead through other leaders and grow your force multipliers
  •  Create alignment across product, engineering, UI/UX, customer success, and multiple teams to drive towards the desired outcomes  
  •  Develop the long-term vision and strategy for your teams and execute relentlessly
  •  Prioritize based on ROI and make tradeoffs between short and long term investments  
  •  Craft powerful messages that inspire and instill the culture we’re known for
  •  Recruit talented engineers who attract other talented engineers
  •  Mentor engineers and help them advance in their career paths wherever that may lead  
  •  Foster an environment for continuous learning
  •  Lead business and technical discussions and ensure the solutions not only meet the outcomes but also set a high bar for scalability, performance, and maintainability
  •  Recognize patterns of inefficiency and when to augment our paved road to accelerate delivery  
  •  Maintain a close pulse on incidents and proactively communicate up and wide
  •  Roll up your sleeves and dive deep to help unblock teams and know when to step back  Drive improvements based on insights developed from data analysis

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ Experience leading architecture discussions and able to dive deep as needed 
  • Mentored and grew team members into strong leaders
  • 8+ Experience managing other engineering leaders is a plus
  • A track record of shipping projects at scale

The approximate base pay range for this position is $185,000 to $200,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.  Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
