This is a senior marketing position that will play one of the lead roles in driving both strategy and execution of planning, activation, and optimization of our clients’ digital marketing efforts. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will bring extensive consulting, technical, functional, and product expertise for live entertainment clients. You will also serve as an integrator between business requirements and ad tech platforms, helping to create digital marketing solutions to meet clients’ growing needs. You will play a key role across multiple clients, driving client education, thought leadership, and campaign implementation. Your strengths in multiple digital marketing platforms including Google Ads, DV360, and Facebook for Business will contribute to your success. 

This position will work closely with other members of the digital media team, sales, and report to the Director of Marketing Services.

Duties:

Successful Digital Marketing Sales and Campaign Implementation

  • Serve as one of the senior business development team members who also acts as the strategic, tactical and technical digital marketing leads for multiple accounts with a focus on generating ticket sales for college athletics and live entertainment
  • Drive strategy as well as set-up, manage, and optimize of paid media campaigns
  • Build strategic recommendations – to elevate conversions and performance marketing goals
  • Own executive client conversations during development, execution, and post-campaign stages
  • In concert with other members of the programmatic team, take a “big picture” perspective and seek to maximize our total digital marketing return
  • Unlock incremental improvements through a test and learn approach

 

Strategic Client Education and Consulting

  • Educate clients on industry trends, best practices, campaign performance, new services and opportunities
  • Unlock new strategic initiatives and testing with new products from Google, Facebook, and other ad platforms
  • Create and present client educational case studies and successes

Thought Leadership 

  • Consult with and help drive new strategic objectives within the organization
  • Serve as one of the team leads to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Monitor competitor and industry trends
  • Manage team duties and tasks, and coach others to execute alongside cross-functional team members

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years in a hands-on role with digital marketing/programmatic campaigns at an agency, marketer, or demand side platform.
  • At least 5 years of total marketing experience
  • High attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience launching and managing paid search (Google Ads), DV360 campaigns, and social (Facebook Business Manager)
  • Strong grasp of the overall digital marketing ecosystem and the role that paid social and programmatic play within
  • A passion for college athletics and the entertainment business and a strong understanding of live entertainment
  • Outstanding communication, sales presentation, and interpersonal skills (both written and oral)

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with or significant exposure to college athletics and live entertainment industry
  • Experience building media plans and meeting campaign performance goals
  • Experience with ROAS measurement and reporting
  • Exposure to offline marketing channels & tactics
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics experience and certification
