Digital Marketing Associate-Mogo

Mogo Interactive, a division of Learfield IMG College, the nation’s premier collegiate sports multimedia and sponsorship rights management company, is looking for an exceptional Digital Marketing Associate to support the Client Solutions or Media Activation teams in a learning environment.  This role is effectively an “apprenticeship” where you will be exposed to the account management and execution of cross-platform marketing campaigns. You will develop a solid understanding of programmatic marketing within the digital marketing and advertising technology ecosystem. You’ll have an immediate role in campaign planning, programmatic media buying, the campaign build process, as well as the optimization and development of campaign insights based on campaign results.  

The Digital Marketing Associate is a critical team member, performing foundational execution aspects of our clients’ campaigns and trafficking deliverables.  You’ll build upon your existing analytical skills, and push the limits on your ability to juggle, prioritize, and execute on tasks. To be truly effective in this role, you will work together with multiple teams from sales and client solutions to media activation to ensure media plans are fully integrated, guided by valuable insights, and seen through to flawless activation.

This role is based in our Bay Area, NYC or Plano offices.


  • Support the team(s) with account planning, campaign execution, account onboarding, campaign analysis, optimization, troubleshooting, reporting, etc
  • Trafficking and monitoring incoming campaign creative to ensure the required specifications are met
  • Facilitate the flow of daily communication including, but not limited to, recurring status meetings, client requests, tactical planning deliverables, and campaign tracking
  • Work with Client Solutions and Media Activation teams to track media performance and identify insights needed to refine and optimize campaign strategies
  • Produce performance reports by pulling data, confirming data accuracy, managing custom reporting requests, and understanding client-specific KPIs and goals
  • Manage the streamlined execution and delivery of all activation-related needs (i.e., buy details, media authorizations, goal entry, and post-buy reporting)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to deliver on client objectives and move the businesses forward
  • Support client services or media activation team members to maintain all documentation associated with each project (tasks, schedules, SOWs, budgets, project briefs, POs, etc.)
  • Develop and refine effective communication and presentation skills (written, phone and in-person) with professionalism and business maturity
  • Expertly manage workload in order to provide a high degree of responsiveness, quality, and swift resolution of issues


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience (postgraduate or internship experience) in marketing, advertising, or related field
  • Proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A driver and self-starter with a proven track record of success operating as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • A desire to learn, you come to work every day ready to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and understand media data sources and dynamics of media: how each media element performs alone, how they perform together, and how they are constantly changing
  • An analytical mindset, the ability to help transform vast data sets into compelling and actionable insights
  • Knowledge of principles of advertising, marketing, and media strongly preferred
  • An understanding of programmatic media, paid search, and social, or Google Analytics highly desired but not required
