MogoSME, a Learfield IMG College company, is currently seeking a Designer with branding and digital experience to join our creative team. Actually, we’re looking for a unicorn. Part Graphic Designer, part Art Director, part deck master and most definitely 100% passionate creative problem-solver. You’ll be an essential part of the brand development process with strategic thinking that translates into meaningful design that creates impact for clients. You’re also a storyteller, able to execute digital and social campaigns across platforms. And you can take content and design a masterful presentation that would wow any audience. Your experience includes commercial work for clients, both national and local. Fresh creative thinking, flawless execution, timely delivery and a positive attitude are your trademarks. Contemporary design and conceptual storytelling are your superpowers. You’re highly motivated, organized and meticulous at your craft. You enjoy being challenged and taking on a variety of assignments, often with tight timelines. You’re passionate about the work and are a true team player. The ideal candidate will be based in either New York or San Francisco, but we’re also open to candidates in other US cities who demonstrate extraordinary skills to meet our needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality visual solutions based on research, insight, creative briefs and clients’ business strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients in concepting, developing, and executing brand identity and integrated brand systems
  • Bring designs to life across a wide variety of touchpoints and channels including digital, social, web, print, video and more
  • Solidify and push concepts forward in the search for redefining a brand story through design; including identity, typography, layout, color, and the role each play
  • Deliver exceptional work on time and on budget 
  • Effectively and persuasively engage with internal leadership and clients 
  • Present ideas and designs to clients and new business prospects in conjunction with the SME and Learfield teams
  • Ability to take feedback and develop inspiring alternative creative solutions 
  • Prepare final files for delivery based on production specifications 
  • Display a positive, team-building work attitude without ego
  • Be an industry expert; live and breathe contemporary design and digital trends
  • Work to continually improve the processes within the Creative Department 

Required Skills and Experience 

  • 3-6 years of agency, studio or in-house experience as a Designer
  • Dazzling online portfolio of branding, digital and social content that demonstrates conceptual thinking and exceptional execution
  • Master of Adobe Suite
  • Understanding the role of various channels and ways in which our audience interacts with each
  • Outstanding design, verbal, organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines and handle unforeseen situations 
  • Ability to craft clear and visually compelling presentations in PPT and Google Slides
  • Passion for college sports is a plus
