At CLC, we are building new innovative solutions for colleges and universities.  One of those solutions, CORE81, is a technology solution designed to help smaller colleges and universities establish and manage trademark licensing programs.  Another is COMPASS, which is the leading platform assisting college athletic departments in managing student-athlete name, image, and likeness (NIL) needs related to deal disclosure, monitoring, and education.

CLC is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, team player with proven experience developing new business. This person will cultivate a sales pipeline, organize the sales process and negotiate contracts for our portfolio of innovative solutions. Occasional travel may be required. Position will be based in Atlanta, Georgia and report to VP, Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sales pipeline and lead cultivation.

  • Lead sales presentations and system demos.

  • Speak confidently with partners about the advantages of trademark licensing.

  • Represent CLC at tradeshows and other industry events.

  • Work with partners to understand business challenges and formulate solutions.

  • Own the partner relationship through the sales process and manage the transition process to the client success team.

  • Negotiate contracts with clients.

  • Track all progress in the company’s CRM.

  • Always represent the company in a professional manner.

  • Collaborate with leadership on development strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience
  • Experience to include sales, trademark licensing, or related field
  • Ability to clearly and effectively present to large groups, executives, or senior administrators
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Nights/Weekends may be required
  • 10% Travel
  • Strong competitive spirit – desire to win the business through hard work and determination
  • Passion for the Higher Education and Collegiate Athletic industries
  • Very detail-oriented and perceptive
  • Relationship builder
