The Learfield IMG College Broadcast Division seeks candidates for its part-time audio staff August 2021 to March 2022. The primary responsibilities will be dictated by an individual’s unique qualifications and skills. They may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Producing live broadcasts and/or audio production to air on live broadcasts.
  • Acquiring, editing and uploading audio for various on-demand distribution
  • Delivering on-air content for various NCAA athletic programs, which will typically involve writing, producing, and broadcasting in-game scoreboard updates
  • Streaming audio monitoring and support
  • Assisting studio hosts and producers with live broadcast remote setup and execution, including: Initiating audio connections between studio and remote destinations; Gameday affiliate phone support; Tracking technical resources and assigning as needed per broadcast demands
  • Other duties as assigned

*On-air, board operation and technical operation training is provided for all new hires, as well as an in-season mentorship program. Additional training is available upon request.*

Qualifications

Candidates must display passion and professionalism with a strong work ethic, be proficient with computers, web savvy, detail-oriented and able to work at a fast pace with excellent time management, communication and organizational skills. Prior on-air commercial radio experience is required for on-air responsibilities, but not all jobs will have that component. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and will be required to work several nights and weekends.

  • General understanding of remote broadcasting concepts
  • General understanding of broadcast board operation
  • Previous broadcast production experience is preferred
  • Prior on-air commercial radio experience is required, but only for roles where on-air performance is needed
  • Experience with Skyview Fastplayer or similar automation software is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
