Responsible for performing the daily operations of the company’s accounts receivable cycle, with an emphasis on collections and application of payments. The ideal candidate will possess not only a strong background in collections but will have a background of providing excellent customer service in all aspects of the role. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and send out invoices
  • Monitor mailbox and respond to billing inquiries
  • Contact customers by email and telephone to collect delinquent payments
  • Engage in multiple tasks such as negotiating payment arrangements, leaving messages, documenting accounts appropriately, and working to bring past due accounts current
  • Post cash daily
  • Review aging reports and provide weekly status to management
  • Recognition of significant credit risks and placing high priority on escalation of risks to management
  • Exhibit high level of customer service at all times

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years experience in accounts receivable, credit and collections
  • Good written and verbal communications
  • Proven track record in providing outstanding customer service
  • Team player and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to consistently handle multiple priorities and deliver accurate results
  • Present a positive attitude
  • Communicate directly and honestly as demonstrated by previous work experience and performance

 

The approximate base pay range for this position is $22.12 to $28.24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
