Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsible for performing the daily operations of the company’s accounts receivable cycle, with an emphasis on collections and application of payments. The ideal candidate will possess not only a strong background in collections but will have a background of providing excellent customer service in all aspects of the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and send out invoices
- Monitor mailbox and respond to billing inquiries
- Contact customers by email and telephone to collect delinquent payments
- Engage in multiple tasks such as negotiating payment arrangements, leaving messages, documenting accounts appropriately, and working to bring past due accounts current
- Post cash daily
- Review aging reports and provide weekly status to management
- Recognition of significant credit risks and placing high priority on escalation of risks to management
- Exhibit high level of customer service at all times
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years experience in accounts receivable, credit and collections
- Good written and verbal communications
- Proven track record in providing outstanding customer service
- Team player and willingness to help wherever needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to consistently handle multiple priorities and deliver accurate results
- Present a positive attitude
- Communicate directly and honestly as demonstrated by previous work experience and performance
The approximate base pay range for this position is $22.12 to $28.24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
