This position will be responsible for processing all payables accurately and timely, and work with business units and vendors to ensure timely processing of payable and payment disbursements.  


  • Review payables received; verify general ledger account numbers, divisions and amounts. Process payables into ERP and supporting systems.  Ensure that established internal controls are followed and proper approvals are obtained. 
  • Process payables including check, EFT, credit card and manual payments to vendors on a weekly basis. 
  • Coordinate payables processing with business units and vendors and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain day to day processing of expense report inquiries and support end users.  Process expense exceptions, process weekly and month reports for business units.  Maintain timely processing of expenses and entry into the ERP system.  


  • 2+ years of general accounting or closely related field experience preferred
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively communication in written and oral form
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
  • Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications
  • Ability to problem solve related issues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships without being contacted in the course of work
