Staff level role in the MMR finance function.  This position has primary responsibility for financial processing of gaming program transactions and a group of GL accounts and is responsible for maintenance and reconciliation of those accounts.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Process gameday program vending financial transactions through recording revenue, taxes, commissions and expenses related to the programs sold at sporting events. Communicate directly and provide daily support for the properties and related Business Managers
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts associated with the gaming programs
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts. Provide reconciliation to management for approval and make any necessary adjusting entries following review
  • Perform month end close duties as assigned, including posting entries, running reports and analyzing accounts
  • Research open account balances from the general ledger and correspond with Business Managers to resolve any issues
  • Ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
  • Accounting liaison supporting external audit
  • Other duties as needed
  • Email and phone allowance provided for external communications related to gaming programs

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business field
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research and resolve accounting applications.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and written with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Intermediate ability with MS Excel
  • Experience with Accounting Systems. GP Dynamics is a plus.
