WINSTON-SALEM, NC – For the second consecutive season, The Law Offices of Timothy D. Welborn proudly served as the presenting sponsor of the “Home Runs For Heroes” initiative during the 2025 Wake Forest Baseball campaign. Through this partnership, the Triad based local law firm committed a donation of $100 to Victory Junction for every home run hit by the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at David F. Couch Ballpark, home of the Deacs.
Victory Junction is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with serious illnesses. These experiences are designed to be exciting, fun, and empowering, at no cost to the children or their families.
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with Wake Forest Baseball through the Home Runs for Heroes program,” said Tim Welborn. “Supporting Victory Junction’s mission to create unforgettable experiences for children facing serious health challenges is something our entire team stands behind. It’s been inspiring to see the impact of this initiative grow, and we’re honored to be a part of it again this season.”
Throughout the season, the Wake Forest baseball team hit an impressive 64 home runs at The Couch, resulting in a total donation of $6,400 to Victory Junction. Combined with last season, the firm has now pledged $13,500 total in support of this campaign.

All Wake Forest athletics sponsorship agreements are managed by athletic media rights holder Wake Forest Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield, the media and technology company powering college athletics.
