Dallas, TX (March 19, 2025) – Kristine Schroeder, Chief People and Culture Officer for Learfield, the leading media and technology company powering college athletics has been named an honoree in Ragan’s Top Women in HR Awards in the director of the year category for the Class of 2025.

The award celebrates the women who champion their organizations’ employees and have worked hard to ensure that quality, productivity, employee health and morale are at its highest. As noted by Ragan, the women on this list are leading the charge when it comes to employee health, performance management, training and development, and so much more.

Schroeder was chosen from a wide pool of entries to receive recognition for her impressive work leading a 39-person HR team responsible for the needs and culture of the company’s 2,000+ employees across five businesses. In addition to championing the people that power Learfield, Kristine is instrumental in:

  • Overseeing the diversity, equity and inclusion team’s various initiatives, including six employee resource groups that develop targeted programming for teammates.
  • Leading Learfield’s community service efforts, including its national philanthropic partnership with Team Impact, which matches collegiate sports teams with children battling chronic illnesses, as well as the Family Fund, a nonprofit entity funded by Learfield staff to support each other in times of personal need.
  • Reinstituting Learfield’s companywide day of service in 2024 with Share the Care Day.
