MILWAUKEE, Wis. (October 9, 2024) – Milwaukee Athletics and Learfield, the media and technology company powering college athletics, announced an extended agreement with the Panthers’ broadcast partner, Good Karma Brands (GKB) – 101.7 The Truth in Milwaukee.
In addition to the traditional radio broadcasts available on 101.7 The Truth and its mobile app, all Panther men’s basketball broadcasts will be streamed live on the Black & Gold Network at mkepanthers.com, The Wisconsin on Demand and Varsity Network mobile apps. This season, fans of Milwaukee basketball will have more ways than ever to listen to the action as head coach Bart Lundy begins his third season at the helm.

Scott Warras is back for his ninth season as the Panthers’ radio play-by-play announcer in 2024-25. This season also marks his 19th overall working in the Milwaukee Athletics Department, a stretch that included a decade as the radio voice of the women’s basketball program. In addition to his basketball responsibilities, Warras calls Panthers’ baseball games every spring that can be heard on the Black & Gold Network and viewed on ESPN+. Over the course of the year, he can also be found working on a variety of digital projects for MKEPanthers.com.
The relationship with 101.7 The Truth is managed by Milwaukee Athletics exclusive multimedia rights holder, Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties; the locally based team of Learfield.
