Austin, TX — September 6, 2024 — Conecuh Sausage Company announced today a multi-year sponsorship agreement with University of Texas Athletics which names the brand as the presenting sponsor of Smokey’s Midway on Longhorns Football game days.

Since 2019, Smokey’s Midway has become a highlight of game days, offering hours of fun for the whole family outside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.  It features dozens of free carnival games and prizes, a Ferris wheel, a super slide, inflatable attractions, an array of fair-style foods, and much more.  To add true southern flavor to the menu, Conecuh Sausage, a family-owned and operated business deeply rooted in college football traditions, will bring its high-quality products to fans at Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium this fall.

Since 1947, the Sessions family has been smoking their original Conecuh pork sausage over a hickory fire, and today they offer six varieties of sausage, including Cajun, Spicy & Hot, and All-Natural Hickory Smoked Sausage with no MSG or added nitrates.
