Organization’s Authentic, Bold Mission to Provide Opportunity, Educate and Execute with Integrity to be Leveraged through Beavers’ Sponsorship

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Focused on providing name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities for all Oregon State University student-athletes and teams, Dam Nation Collective announced today it has the designation as “The Preferred Collective of Oregon State Athletics” through a sponsorship agreement with LEARFIELD’s Beaver Sports Properties.

Dam Nation has an authentic and bold mission of providing opportunities for OSU’s student-athletes and teams while educating and executing the right way. The organization is a one-stop shop for all Beaver student-athletes and teams to create, optimize and promote their brand and NIL opportunities through key partnerships with investors, including OSU alumni, fans and business partners. Dam Nation will work with student-athletes and teams on various opportunities that may be local, regional or national in scope.

“Intercollegiate athletics is always evolving, and the NIL space is a perfect example of that,” said Dam Nation Co-Founder Kyle Bjornstad. “The core of Dam Nation’s philosophy is to create a platform for OSU’s student-athletes and teams to succeed in life, and we will do so by providing them with intentional and meaningful opportunities. The foundation which Dam Nation is built upon is not just these opportunities, but we will also provide student-athletes and teams with education so that they can better utilize these tools.”

Through its sponsorship agreement with Beaver Sports Properties, Oregon State Athletics’ multimedia rightsholder, Dam Nation will have visibility across numerous official OSU platforms. The sponsorship initiative is separate from any activity related to funds associated with Dam Nation that may be allocated to student-athletes and teams as part of NIL opportunities.

“Our team has the opportunity of working with local, regional and national businesses that want to align with Oregon State Athletics and reach OSU’s passionate fans,” said Lucas Motta, Beaver Sports Properties’ general manager. “The mission statement behind Dam Nation showcases their passion for the student-athletes, and we can collaborate with them to bring the right NIL solutions to our brand sponsors to maximize their overall partnership in this NIL era while working with them to tell their brand story and connect with Beaver Nation.”

According to Dick Oldfield, Dam Nation co-founder, “We are both honored and thrilled to be ‘The Preferred Collective of Oregon State Athletics’ and to have the opportunity to work closely with brand sponsors through LEARFIELD’s local team as we strive to help elevate OSU’s student-athletes and teams as they navigate their NIL journey today, and more importantly, help them to prepare for their future.”

LEARFIELD is a media, data and technology services leader in intercollegiate athletics. The company unlocks the value of college sports for brands and fans through an omnichannel platform with innovative content and commerce solutions. LEARFIELD does not represent student-athletes.
