NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Athletics and Tulane Sports Properties have announced an extension with iHeartMedia and KVDU 104.1 The Spot as the flagship home of Green Wave football and men’s basketball along the Tulane Sports Network from LEARFIELD. KVDU will carry every Tulane football and men’s basketball game on 104.1 FM in New Orleans.

Live coverage of the Tulane Sports Network from LEARFIELD on 104.1 The Spot will begin with exclusive pregame coverage one hour prior to every football kickoff and thirty minutes before every men’s basketball tip-off. Furthermore, each game broadcast will conclude with exclusive postgame coverage, featuring analysis, recaps and interviews.

The 2022-23 season of Tulane football kicks off on Saturday, September 3rd against UMass. Live coverage on 104.1 The Spot will begin at 5p CT. The Voice of the Green WaveCorey Gloor, will provide play-by-play commentary. Steve Barrios, Tulane Hall of Fame wide receiver, returns for his 40th season in the Tulane broadcast booth. Tulane graduate Maddy Hudak will serve as sideline reporter.

Tulane women’s basketball and baseball will continue to be heard locally in New Orleans on WRBH 88.3 FM beginning this November.
