STILLWATER – Seth Wadley’s dealerships in Perry, Oklahoma, hit a home run for women’s collegiate sports through a new relationship with Oklahoma State University softball. The 2022 Big 12 champion Cowgirl softball team, which has advanced to the Women’s College World Series for the last three consecutive seasons, is receiving a team-wide Name, Image and Likeness deal with Seth Wadley’s dealerships in Perry.

The deal supports every student-athlete on the OSU softball team.  To celebrate and showcase the new partnership, the Seth Wadley dealership is the title sponsor for the Cowgirl softball team’s annual golf outings at Karsten Creek and Cimarron Trails on August 25 and 26, respectively.

“We see the incredible impact Kenny Gajewski and his Cowgirls are having in this state and across the country,” Jared Cunningham, Seth Wadley’s local co-owner said. “With our two Perry dealerships being less than 20 minutes from campus, we felt this NIL agreement was the perfect opportunity for us to support standout athletes who exemplify the values of our businesses and community. It is a true honor to form this connection between Seth Wadley of Perry and the Cowgirls.”

The popularity of Cowgirl Softball has skyrocketed in recent years. OSU was selected for multiple nationally televised broadcasts during the regular season in addition to the 2022 NCAA Regional and Super Regional games played at Cowgirl Stadium in Stillwater. The crowds at their games have outgrown stadium capacity by so much that OSU had to add new seating to accommodate all the fans.

“What makes this partnership with the Seth Wadley dealerships in Perry so special is the fact that our entire team gets to be part of it, even those from last year’s team who have exhausted their eligibility,” OSU coach Kenny Gajewski said. “It’s a great boost to these women, and to the sport of softball, to see our student-athletes recognized for the heartfelt impact they have on their fans and our community.”

The new sponsorship agreement and NIL component with Seth Wadley’s dealerships was secured on behalf of the University by its athletics multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD’s Cowboy Sports Properties.
