Women Leaders welcomes LEARFIELD as a Champion Supporter to educate, train and advance women in revenue generation and other impactful roles

Kansas City, Mo.— Women Leaders in College Sports (Women Leaders) has announced  a renewed and enhanced affiliation with LEARFIELD for the 2022 Women Leaders National Convention and the 50th anniversary of Title IX. The National Convention takes place October 9-11 in Kansas City. This further demonstrates LEARFIELD’s commitment to supporting and elevating women in the industry.

As a Champion Supporter of Women Leaders in College Sports, LEARFIELD will be a thought leadership partner at the National Convention, providing content on important industry topics and a robust training workshop. Women Leaders and LEARFIELD will collaborate to educate, train and advance women in revenue generation areas.

“We are thrilled to have LEARFIELD on board as a Champion level partner of our 2022 National Convention,” said Patti Phillips, CEO of Women Leaders in College Sports. “Through this partnership with LEARFIELD, we hope to bring awareness to career opportunities in revenue generation areas, as we prepare women to elevate to new roles.”

Current senior women leaders from the LEARFIELD family – including Jennifer Davis, chief marketing officer, and Kim Damron, president and CEO of Paciolan –  will be among featured thought leaders.  They will join others to share insights to educate, empower and cultivate the next generation of women in the business of sport.

In alignment with the 50th anniversary of Title IX, Women Leaders and LEARFIELD will continue to work in tandem to equip women leaders with leadership skills and innovative technology, as they continue to change the landscape of the sports industry.

“We are proud of the work that the leadership and members at Women Leaders have done to champion diversity in college athletics,” said Cole Gahagan, CEO and President of LEARFIELD. “Supporting these efforts creates more opportunities for female sports administrators and the student-athletes they are mentoring, as well as women leading the sports industry. It is our hope that current and future leadership in athletics will continue to see the impact of Women Leaders.”
