Five-Part Documentary by Director Josh Swade and MAGGIEVISION Productions Gives Fans Inside Look at 2021-22 Syracuse Men’s Basketball

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse University Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder LEARFIELD announced today the launch of the trailer for STORIED – a five-part documentary providing fans the ultimate all-access journey into the 2021-22 Syracuse men’s basketball program.

STORIED is directed by Josh Swade, who is noted for his work with ESPN 30 for 30 and many prominent sports projects and films. The series captures exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Head Coach Jim Boeheim, the coaching staff and entire team. Swade is a filmmaker and producer with MAGGIEVISION Productions, which is teaming with Syracuse and LEARFIELD on the project.

Fans can watch the trailer online now via the dedicated page Cuse.com/STORIED. The five episodes comprising the STORIED documentary will release on Tuesdays, from October 12 – November 9. Presented by Syracuse-based Crouse Health, STORIED will be accessible for fans on the official athletics website page and through Syracuse Athletics’ official social channels.

“Fans of the Orange will absolutely love STORIED,” said Syracuse Director of Athletics John Wildhack. “The storytelling is dynamic and authentic, with never-before-seen camera work on and off the court. It’s truly exceptional and we can’t wait to share this with our fans.”

Syracuse advanced to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 last season, and the upcoming season marks Boeheim’s 46th season as head coach at his alma mater. The Orange begins exhibition games on October 27 at home, and the entire 2021-22 schedule can be found here at Cuse.com.

According to Swade, “The opportunity to work with LEARFIELD and Syracuse, and to tell stories tied to this legendary program and the iconic Jim Boeheim, is a huge thrill for a college hoops junkie like myself.”

“Creating compelling stories that fans will love, in partnership with our schools, is the mission of our content team,” said LEARFIELD SVP and Head of Content Grant Jones. “Producing our first series with a legacy basketball program like Syracuse, and Josh Swade as our director, has been tremendous and a prime example of the type of amazing storytelling we want to give our school partners. Our desire continues to be driven by providing fans exciting and impactful content in whatever school colors they bleed – whenever, however, and wherever they are.”
