BERKELEY, Calif.  – Cal Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD’s Cal Bears Sports Properties, announced today a new multi-year relationship with Hustle Clean – the reputable hygiene company founded by former Cal football teammates Wale Forrester, Justin Forsett and Wendell Hunter.

This marks the first entry into college sports sponsorship for Hustle Clean, a mission-driven, black-owned brand with personal care products that support active, high-performance lifestyles. The company’s hypoallergenic, antimicrobial wipes and sanitizer will be placed in locker rooms of select Cal athletic programs.

“Words can’t express how excited I am to partner with my alma mater to bring premium self-care products into the locker rooms of Cal student-athletes,” said Forsett. “The university gave me an opportunity to play the game at a high level and now, as a CEO/co-founder, I’m able to pay it forward by providing student-athletes with high quality products. Ultimately, we hope this partnership inspires the next wave of student-athletes and offers encouragement that there is success after sports.”

In addition to providing wipes and hand sanitizer for Cal’s football and men’s and women’s rowing programs, Hustle Clean will have product displays in the football locker room, T. Gary Rogers Rowing Center and the Briones Reservoir Boathouse. The brand will receive in-venue LED visibility at football and men’s and women’s basketball games, as well as digital engagement through LEARFIELD’s proprietary Fan365 audience platform.

“We are excited to partner with a product that will benefit our student-athletes,” added Cal Athletics’ Chief Revenue Officer Joe Mulford. “What makes this even more special is that Hustle Clean has such strong ties to Cal Athletics and our Cal football program, including CEO Justin Forsett, who is an incoming member of our Hall of Fame.”

Hustle Clean, delivering on-the-go premium, antibacterial self-care products for the fitness community and athletes, is intent about giving back and serving communities. The company’s Free Play program provides sports scholarships to underserved youth, and Shower2ThePeople delivers Hustle Clean body wipes to communities lacking access to clean water. Hustle Clean products are available at Target, Amazon, Walmart and on HustleClean.com.
